Future plans include programs for youth and adults. Our goal is to reach as many people for Christ as we can.
Goals:
To follow God’s command as given in Mathew 28:19-20.
To provide opportunities for area Christians to become involved in local ministry.
To help meet the physical , emotional and spiritual needs of area children and adults.
To demonstrate the love of Christ to local families.
To look for opportunities to meet the needs for area homes to be safe and secure places.
That God will be glorified in all we do.

Christine's Home
A HOME FOR TEENAGED GIRLS
BUILDING FUND CAMPAIGN
GOAL $400,000.00
With all the events of the last few weeks we have all experienced so many emotions. We have all felt secure in American for many years. We have experienced bad times in our land. Now all that is threatened and suddenly we find ourselves not sure what is going to happen. However, there has been a group of people who was not experiencing that serenity or reaping the results of the "good times" of America. This group is young people who are in foster care. Everyday the headlines are filled with acts of violence to children. Last year in North Carolina more than 31,000 children were confirmed victims of abuse & neglect. In Cleveland County we have approximately 180 children in foster care with as many as 25 being sent out of the county as far away as Wilmington. Children face situations that we can hardly imagine.
What can be done for our children who find themselves in our care? We at Hands On Missions believe that God has given us the leadership to establish a Christian Group Home to help deal with the problem. This home would give a Christian environment of His love and nurturing to nine young people. God has given us the vision, but we can’t do this on our own. We need your help! We need your financial support as well as your prayers.
As Christians we are to reach out to those who are hurting and have needs: The Bible teaches us these things.
Matthew 25:34-40
"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
1 Corinthians 13:1-3, 13
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have no love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
What more can we give than love? .... Nothing!
Love bears all thing, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, Love never ends.
